By putting great efforts, he started in 1985 a wholesale firm named “ Soni Prakashchandra Shantilal Jewellers” and in continuation to this with great success in a short span of three to four years he started a retail jewellery showroom in Ahmedabad.

દૂરદર્શી વ્યક્તિ શ્રી સોની પ્રકાશચંદ્ર શાંતીલાલ કે જેઓએ ઇચ્છિત ધ્યેયો અને અનંત સપના પ્રાપ્ત કરવા માટે ઘણાં વર્ષો પહેલાં સને ઇ.સ. ૧૯૭૦ માં તેમની મુસાફરીની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. જોકે તેઓ મુળ ગુજરાતનાં ઉંઝામાં આવેલા એક નાના “ઉપેરા” ગામના વતની છે. તેઓ હંમેશા મહાન સફળતા મેળવવા માટે તત્પર અને આંકાક્ષી રહયાં, જેની તેમણે જાગૃત સ્વપ્નરૂપી કલ્પના કરી છે. આ માટે તેમણે અમદાવાદને તેમની “કર્મભૂમિ” જ નહીં પણ “માતૃભૂમિ” બનાવી.

ઘણાં અથાગ પ્રયાસો કર્યા બાદ તેમણે સને ઇ.સ. ૧૯૮૫ માં “સોની પ્રકાશચંદ્ર શાંતીલાલ જવેલર્સ” નામની હોલસેલ કંપનીની શરૂઆત કરી અને ત્યારબાદ તેઓએ મહાન સફળતાની વૃધ્ધિના ભાગરૂપે, ફકત ત્રણ થી ચાર વર્ષના ટુંકા ગાળામાં જ તેમણે અમદાવાદમાં રીટેલ જ્વેલરીના શો-રૂમની પણ શરૂઆત કરી.

ત્યારબાદ, તેમણે કયારેય પાછું ફરીને ન જોયું અને ઘણાં વર્ષોના અનુભવથી “પી.એસ. જવેલ્સ” એ ગોલ્ડ (સોનું), ડાયમંડ (હીરાના દાગીના) અને જડતરના દાગીનાના વેપારમાં સારી એવી નામના કેળવી છે.
